Line2 App for macOS: Manage Voicemail and SMS Messages

 

Save a Voicemail

  1. Click on Voicemail
  2. Click on the VM message you want to save
  3. Click the Download button 
  4. Save the mp3 file anywhere on your computer

 

Play,  Download, Block, and Delete your Voicemail 

  1.  Click on Voicemail under the Activities header on the left side of the app
  2. Your read and unread voicemails will populate
  3. To the right of the screen, you will be able to Play, Call, Show Contact, Download, Block, and Delete the voicemail. 


Helpful Hint: Manually deleting a voicemail take effect immediately and cannot be undone. Voicemail messages will be automatically deleted after 180 days.

 

 

Receive a SMS Message  

  1. Confirm you are logged into your Line2 App.
  2. You will receive a notification from Line2 each time a message is received. 


Send a SMS Message

  1. Click on the new message icon on the left
  2. Type in the number or name 
  3. Type a message
  4. Hit Enter on your keyboard to send


Helpful Hint: Group messages are limited to 10 recipients. To send a photo, click the paper clip and browse to the .jpg or .png file you wish to send. If you have a Toll Free Number, group and photo messaging to non-Line2 numbers is currently not supported.

 

Respond to a Message

  1. Click on Messages on the left side of the Line2 for Mac window
  2. Find and click the conversation to which you wish to reply
  3. Type your message in the box below the conversation
  4. Hit Enter on your keyboard to send


Delete a Message

  1. Click on Messages under the ACTIVITY header on the left side of the Line2 window 
  2. Right click the conversation you wish to delete 
  3. Click Delete
  4. Click the Delete Item button on the confirmation popup

Helpful Hint: Deleting a message cannot be undone or recovered.
