The Line2 app for iOS allows you to easily make calls, manage your call history, return calls, and set up conference calls. This guide explains how to use the calling features available in the app.
Place a Call
Dial a Number
- Open the Line2 app.
- Tap Keypad.
- Enter the phone number you want to call.
- Tap the Call button.
Call a Contact
- Open the Contacts tab.
- Search for or select the contact you want to call.
- Tap the contact name.
- Select the phone number you want to call.
- Tap the Call button.
Return a Call
To return a recent call:
- Open the Calls tab.
- Go to Recents.
- Find the number or contact you want to call back.
- Tap the call entry to place the call.
Return a Call from Voicemail
To call back someone who left a voicemail:
- Open the Calls tab.
- Select the Voicemail tab.
- Press and hold the voicemail contact.
- Tap the Phone icon to return the call.
Start a Conference Call
You can add multiple participants to a conference call.
- Place or answer your first call using the Line2 app.
- Tap Add Call.
- Select a contact or dial a number using the Keypad.
- Tap Merge to combine the calls.
Note: You can add up to 20 participants to a conference call.
Manage Recent Calls
Delete a Call History Entry
To delete an individual call:
- Open Calls > Recents.
- Find the call entry you want to remove.
- Swipe left on the entry.
- Tap Delete.
Note: Deleted call history entries cannot be restored.
Clear All Recent Calls
To clear your entire call history:
- Open Calls > Recents.
- Tap Clear in the top-right corner.
- Select Clear All Recents.
Tips
- Make sure the Line2 app has permission to access your contacts if you want to call saved contacts.
- Use the Recents tab to quickly return missed or previous calls.
- Keep the app updated to access the latest calling improvements.
