Line2 App for iOS: Manage Voicemail and SMS Messages

Play a Voicemail

1. Go to  Calls > Voicemail
2. Tap the voicemail
3. Click the Play icon

Return a Call via Voicemail

1. Tap on the Voicemail
2. Press the Phone Icon

Email a Voicemail Message 

1. Tap on the voicemail you want to email
2. Tap the Envelope icon
3. Input an email address in the To: field
4. Add a subject 
5. Input a message in the body (Optional)
6. Press Send

Delete a Voicemail

1. Tap on the voicemail you wish to delete
2. Click the  Trash icon

Helpful Hint: Deleting a Voicemail takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Voicemails will automatically be deleted after 180 days.

Save a Voicemail

1. Tap Calls > Voicemails
2. Tap on the message you want to save
3. Tap on the email (envelope) icon 
4. Fill out the email address and hit Send

Send SMS Messages

 

1. Launch the Line2 App for iOS
2. Tap on the Messages Icon
3. Tap the compose message icon (top right corner of the screen) or click into an existing thread
4. Go to Contacts (link to Synch Contacts), tap settings, and toggle the access to on.
5. Find the contact by using search
6. Tap the contact
7. Tap Message Icon and then tap Send A Message
8. Helpful Hint:  Group messages are limited to 10 recipients. To send a photo, click the paper clip and browse to the .jpg or .png file you wish to send.
9. Click into the text message field

Keep in Mind:  If you have a Toll Free Number, group and photo messaging to non-Line2 numbers is currently not supported.

Receive SMS Message

To receive messages via Line2, simply ensure that you are connected to a working internet connection (WiFi or cellular data) and that the Line2 app is running.  Any incoming text messages will alert you via the alerting method you selected during Installation and Setup.

 

Delete a SMS Message

1. Go to Messages
2. Open the thread that contains the message you're looking to delete
3. Swipe your finger from right-to-left over the message
4. Tap Delete

 

Delete an Entire SMS Message Thread

1. Navigate to Messages in the Line2 App
2. Locate the thread you would like to delete
3. Swipe your finger from right-to-left over the message thread
4. Push Delete
