When you are on a call using the Line2 Android app, you can access several options to manage your conversation. These controls allow you to adjust audio settings, place calls on hold, transfer calls, and add participants to a conference call.
Available Call Options
Keypad
Select the Keypad button to open the on-screen dial pad during an active call. You can use it to enter numbers for automated systems, extensions, or other call prompts.
Tap the keypad button again to hide it.
Speaker
Select Speaker to turn speakerphone on or off during a call.
Mute
Select Mute to disable your microphone. When muted, you can still hear the other person, but they cannot hear you.
Tap Mute again to unmute your microphone.
Hold
Select Hold to temporarily pause the call.
While a call is on hold:
- You cannot hear the other person.
- The other person cannot hear you.
Tap Hold again to resume the conversation.
Transfer
Select Transfer to send an active call to another phone number.
To transfer a call:
- Tap Transfer.
- Enter the phone number you want to transfer the call to.
- Complete the transfer.
Conference
Select Conference to add additional participants to your call.
To add someone:
- Tap Add Call.
- Enter the participant’s phone number.
- Connect the call and add them to the conference.
You can add up to 20 participants to a conference call.
Merge
The Merge option combines two active calls into a single conference call.
This option becomes available after you have two connected calls.
