Customize your Line2 Android app settings to control how you receive calls and messages. You can enable notifications, change ringtone and message sounds, turn on vibration, manage persistent notifications, and use Quiet Mode when you need fewer interruptions.
Enable Line2 Notifications
Make sure notifications are enabled so you never miss incoming calls or messages.
- Open Android Settings.
- Select Apps or Application Manager.
- Find and select Line2.
- Tap Notifications.
- Turn notifications ON.
Customize Ring and Message Sounds
Choose different sounds for Line2 calls and messages so you can easily identify incoming activity.
- Open the Line2 app.
- Tap the Menu icon.
- Select Settings.
- Tap Notifications.
- Select the notification type you want to customize.
- Tap Ringtone or Message sound.
- Choose your preferred sound.
If prompted, select Media Storage to complete the sound selection.
Enable or Disable Persistent Notifications
Persistent notifications help keep Line2 active in the background.
- Open Line2 Settings.
- Tap Notifications.
- Toggle Persistent notification ON or OFF.
Turn Vibration On or Off
Control whether Line2 vibrates when you receive calls or messages.
- Open Line2 Settings.
- Tap Notifications.
- Toggle Vibrate ON or OFF.
Enable Quiet Mode
Quiet Mode lets you reduce interruptions by controlling Line2 alerts.
- Open Line2 Settings.
- Tap Notifications.
- Turn Quiet Mode ON.
Troubleshooting Notification Issues
If you are not receiving Line2 alerts:
- Confirm Android notifications are enabled for Line2.
- Check that your device is not in Do Not Disturb mode.
- Verify that battery-saving settings are not restricting Line2 activity.
- Restart the Line2 app after changing notification settings.
